Three flavors, first drop

Familiar flavors, reimagined

Our story

It started in a home kitchen

Munchee started with a craving nothing on the shelf could fix: bold, Asian flavors we grew up on, and nowhere to find them at breakfast.

So we started baking. Small trays in a home kitchen. Tested on friends and a handful of New Yorkers. Tweaked until the clusters held together and the flavor actually came through.

The name "Munchee" is a nod to our founder's Chinese name, which means being perceptive to the things of the heart. This is her following one of those things: a long-held dream of starting her own food business, and putting the flavors of her upbringing somewhere they'd never been – the front of the shelf.

Every bite carries boldness from her story, nostalgia from her upbringing, and a whole lot of heart.
